Level 2 Student Workbook
This bound workbook gives the student the opportunity to do the work and to "own" it as a complete endeavor for the school year. It continues with closed, open, and VCe syllable words, with emphasis on specific rules within the syllable types, syllable exceptions, and more multi-syllable words. It introduces additional suffixes (-ing, -ful, -ly), the schwa sound, and vowel team, r-controlled, and consonant-le syllable words.
It includes one "Lesson to Get Ready" and 30 skills lessons that are divided into five days of consistent, but varied activities. The first day of a new lesson is done with the teacher; Days 2-5 can be done independently with teacher support if needed.
