About Pure Learning

Hello! I'm Sallie Pure.

I'm a private language arts tutor, an educational consultant, a writer, a teacher, a former homeschooling parent, and a reading and spelling enthusiast!

In my many years of working with children in a classroom or tutorial setting, it was the learners who struggled the most who taught me what works best when teaching reading and spelling — an Orton-Gillingham-based, multisensory approach with a sequential skills set focused on phonics and the six syllable types. I want to share that knowledge with you!
